I’m not just a mental health professional—I’m also a mom of three young adults who’ve successfully launched into the world. I’ve lived through the highs, lows, and everything in between that comes with raising kids.

The inspiration behind this teen and young adult group coaching program, Upstream, comes not only from my experiences as a parent, but also from remembering what it felt like to be a teen myself. That season of life is filled with uncertainty, fear, insecurity, and pressure. Having support and guidance during this pivotal season of change can make a profound difference, often shaping the direction of someone's entire future.

Leaving the comfort of home and stepping into a world full of demands, constant societal changes, and expectations isn’t easy, and young people need support, tools, and connection to navigate it well.

But what if mom and dad aren’t equipped with the tools to effectively support their older child? What if they’re stretched thin—juggling work, serving their communities, caring for others, and managing their own emotional challenges? In many cases, time, energy, and mental space are limited—yet their child still deeply needs guidance and support.

Upstream offers a powerful solution to this common challenge. In a safe, supportive space with like-minded peers, participants have the chance to explore who they are, what they truly want in life, and what might be holding them back. Through guided coaching, they’ll learn how to let go of unhelpful patterns and adopt healthier, more intentional strategies for creating the life they truly desire.

So if you have or know of a teen or young adult who would benefit from this type of powerful experience, please reach out. I'm always available for a free discovery call so we can connect and determine if mental health coaching is right for you and your loved one.
